— Coi Leray’s latest EP, Now or Never may very well be the project that catapults her into the next level of her promising music career.

If you aren’t up to speed on Coi Leray, that likely won’t be the case for very long. The young rapper/singer has been steady on the rise since the release of her viral singles, “G.A.N” and “Pac Girl”, in 2017 and debut album, Everythingcoz. Still, Coi Leray continues to elevate as her dainty, yet boastful, charisma and hard-hitting, but spirited, production continues to attract new listeners. Now, her most anticipated project to date has arrived and it doesn’t disappoint.

Actually… I lied. The album does disappoint — but only because it’s so short! With only 6 tracks, “Now or Never” leaves you itching for more in a way that I can only assume Coi Leray intended. On the other hand, in a world where artists are packing their albums with as many songs as they can, a quality, but concise, offering can be refreshing to say the least. This is especially true when there are no “skippable” tracks and, although “Do Better” and “Better Days” are the standouts, that’s definitely the case here.

Other well known artists such as Gunna, Kiana Ledé, Fetty Wap, and Sevyn Streeter make guest appearances on the album as well.

Be sure to stream the full project right here and check out the “Do Better” music video while you’re at it.
