— Horus Gump reps Black Belt, Alabama harder than anyone on the planet. Now, we get a sneak peek at his hometown in his “Weight of Generations” music video.

A few weeks ago, Horus Gump dropped one of his most profound singles to date in “Weight of Generations”, produced by Fresco Phoenix. The song featured some powerful subject matter such as Horus’s desires to leave an honorable legacy behind, elevate with his team, and raise his children to be greater than himself, all contrasted by descriptions of his humble beginnings. Now we have a visual to complement Horus Gump’s vivid imagery.

The “Weight of Generations” music video, directed by Simo Haier, follows Horus as he takes us on a small tour through the Black Belt region of Alabama. From his family ranch to his childhood home on a street named after the legendary Stokely Carmichael, Horus shows nothing but pride in his historically important, yet often forgotten, hometown.

Horus Gump’s children also make a cameo appearance in the film as he takes a few moments to spend some quality time with them before getting back to building that legacy.
