— Some Guy Named Lee pays tribute to Atlanta during the Atlanta Hawks’ electrifying 2021 playoff run in his latest single, “City on Fire”.

While Buffalo-bred rapper, Some Guy Named Lee, is strongly influenced by his Upstate New York origins, he has proudly made his second home in Atlanta, GA. So much so, in fact, he’s decided to pen an anthem dedicated to the ATL titled, “City on Fire”,  inspired by an exciting Trae Young-led playoff run.

“City on Fire”, produced by Marco Mavy, features a joyfully melodic beat reminiscent of an ice cream truck on a hot day — a fitting backdrop for a summer hit. Some Guy Named Lee then comes through and compliments the beat flawlessly despite constant shifts in flow, pace, and tone. This, of course, is just before he reminds us of his wide vocal range by singing an incredibly catchy hook that is bound to stick to your memory.

“City on Fire” is a follow up to Some Guy Named Lee’s most successful single to date, “More Product” featuring D. Love and Benny the Butcher as well as his late 2020 appearance on Larimar Media’s very own freestyle series, More Bars Please
