— Glasses Malone, recruits Los Angeles sibling duo, L.A. Giantz, and iconic West Coast rapper, Suga Free, for his unapologetic Gangster Rap track, “Kanye Should’ve Never Married (That B*tch)”.
LA rapper Glasses Malone knows how to make a statement and is no stranger to the controversy that comes with that. If you need an example, look no further than his jaw dropping 2019 song and video, “2Pac Must Die”, where he tells the story of Tupac Shakur’s death from the perspective of his killer. Since then, Malone has experienced a significant rise in notoriety and has produced a steady flow of successful singles leading up to his 2021 album, Glass House. Now, he prepares to dominate headlines yet again with his jarring, yet infectious, new single, “Kanye Should’ve Never Married (That B*tch).
Over hard-hitting West Coast production by Ervin “EP” Pope, the four featured artists, Glasses Malone, Suga Free, and sibling duo, L.A. Giantz, brazenly detail the many trappings of toxic female sexuality. One by one, they each get explicit about the absurdities they see and hear from some of today’s women to deliver what many will call an instant classic.
When breaking down his reason for creating “Kanye Should’ve Never Married (That Bitch)”, Glasses Malone says,
“It’s time to confront the toxic femininity sweeping through Hip-Hop. Women have been poisoned by false idols who themselves have been stricken by tons of insecurities. Enough is enough. Someone has to stand up against it! Why not us? We had to do it, cuh. It had to be the Loc.”
While Kim nor Kanye are ever explicitly mentioned, it’s safe to assume that Glasses Malone sees some similarities in their current relationship woes and the subject matter in this track.
