— Denzel Curry drops his latest single, “Walkin”, with a new music video, and announces a world tour ahead of his upcoming album, Melt My Eyez See Your Future.

Until recently, we had yet to hear from Denzel Curry in 2022 with his last single coming last October via the Powers Pleasant and ZillaKami assisted joint, “Evil Twin”. Still, his last standalone single, “The Game” (which made an appearance on the Madden NFL 2022 soundtrack), came way back in summer of 2021. Now, the star out of South Florida has delivered his latest single, “Walkin”, with an otherworldly new music video and has announced his world tour along with his next album, Melt My Eyez See Your Future.

“Walkin”, the first single from Denzel Curry’s forthcoming album, Melt My Eyez See Your Future, arrives shortly after announcing the project with an official album trailer earlier this month. Produced by Kal Banx, the song steadily builds into one of Curry’s most dynamic rap performances to-date, building further anticipation for what’s to come from Melt My Eyez See Your Future

The new single comes alongside a futuristic Sci-Fi Western visual directed by Adrian Villagomez. The music video features Denzel as he treks across a desert planet before an epic face-off with his antagonist, John Wayne.

Additionally, in support of the forthcoming album, Curry also reveals the dates for his world tour kicking off this spring in North America and running through performances in Europe and the United Kingdom this summer.

The end of 2021 marked the end of an era — the ending of Denzel’s characters and alter egos. When describing the upcoming album, he stated,

“I like traditional hip hop, I like drum and bass, I like trap, I like poetry, so a lot of that is going to be interwoven in this album including jazz and a lot of genres that I came up on as a kid and just being in my parents’ house. This album is made up of everything that I couldn’t give you on TA13OO or Imperial because I was going through depression anger issues.”

Also, in support of the release, Curry recently interviewed with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe and released a limited edition “Walkin” 7-inch disc that is now available for pre-order
