— Toronto native, Tim North, taps JRDN and Quake Matthews for his latest single, “Feel Real”, released via Boom.Records.

Toronto is known for its dark, cold, and moody vibesmost easily identified in its music — and rapper-songwriter Tim North epitomizes just that. Growing up in Toronto’s music scene and witnessing the rise of Drake, Weeknd, and longtime friend Roy Woods certainly helped in solidifying his ominous sound, and on his latest single, “Feel Real”, Tim stays loyal to his roots.

“Feel Real” describes the state of disbelief one can be in when they start to experience things in life that they might have only dreamed of. While he might ask the question “does it feel real”, the answer for Tim Northa person who’s not experiencing these things by accident, but by way of his own work ethic and merit is unequivocally ‘yes’.

Tim North both delivers his signature sound and showcases his range on “Feel Real” as he adds an element of softness to an otherwise dark, 808-heavy track. Fellow Canadians JRDN and Quake Matthews, also added a unique flair to the track that meshes seamlessly with North’s style.

“Feel Real” arrives as a follow up to North’s January collaboration with highly-respected Ottawan R&B artist, Chris Styles, “Earned It”.
