— Lou Phelps releases his latest single, “Oh Really”, with the help of fellow rapper, Guapdad 4000, and singer Joyce Wrice.
We haven’t heard much from rapper and producer Lou Phelps since the release of his Madlib-produced October 2021 single, “Sound of Money”. Lucky for us, he’s back with his newest hit, “Oh Really”, featuring vocals from Joyce Wrice and a verse from Bay Area rapper Guapdad 4000 — the latter of whom just released a new single fresh off of tour with Wale.
Produced by AgaJon, with additional keys from Kiefer, the single is led by a groovy funk bassline coupled with faint synth sounds, snapping percussion, and beautiful piano melodies.
Phelps and Guapdad 4000 both give stellar performances consisting of captivating flows, clever wordplay, and expressive delivery while Joyce Wrice charms you with her sultry vocals throughout.
