— Memphis’ own Key Glock does the unexpected and performs a live acoustic version of his hit single, “Ambition For Cash”, with the assistance of a flute choir.

After becoming the new face of Young Dolph’s Paper Route Empire in such unfortunate fashion, Key Glock has continued to push through, even selling out shows despite the difficult circumstances. Nonetheless, the 24-year-old rising star is on an unstoppable trajectory, only further proving so with his latest live performance of his hit single, “Ambition For Cash”, off his 2021 album, Yellow Tape 2.

With the track originally produced by Tay Keith (who chopped up an entrancing flute sample) Key Glock takes his talents to New York City’s Chinatown to perform the single with the support of a flute choir. The performance, delivered live on the legendary Doyer Street in Manhattan, strips the song down to its essenceGlock’s cash-chasing bars over an infectious woodwind melody.

The live video arrives amidst Glock’s SiriusXM Hip Hop Nation Presents: The Yellow Tape Tour — his first solo nationwide headlining tour, ten dates of which are sold out. The 33-date tour will have shows on both coasts and everywhere in between. You can get your tickets at Key Glock’s official website.
