— Chester Watson releases his first single of the year, titled “mirrors”, and shares a new music video alongside it.

Multi-disciplinary Hip-Hop artist, Chester Watson, has been delivering highly unique and undeniably great music for quite some time having kicked off his career at the age of 15. Still, despite being named “Best 20 Artists Under 20” by Pigeons and Planes and receiving high praise from publications like Vice and Pitchfork, the monotone samurai is criminally underrated. Need proof of his dopeness? Look no further than his latest track, “mirrors”.

Although Chester put on an emphatic performance this past April at Atlanta’s Aisle 5 concert venue alongside his fellow Nü Age members and affiliates, “mirrors” marks his first new music of 2022 — a follow-up 2021 project, 1997,and his 2020 album, A Japanese Horror Film.

The music video, shot and edited by Dylan Jules, uses analog video to create a distorted and dated effect as Watson performs the track from atop a London rooftop in front of a warm, radiant sunset.

Listen to “mirrors” and watch the music video right here. Also, be sure to follow Chester Watson on Instagram and Twitter to stay up to date on his next moves.
