— West London’s Central Cee returns with his latest single, “Doja”, and recruits Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett to direct the music video.

With an international appeal and high anticipation around his every move, Central Cee is the UK’s hottest and most followed rapper, with a social audience of over 8 million, and an awe-inspiring 2 billion global artist streams. Transcending the UK rap scene, 65% of Central Cee’s fans are outside of the UK, with him regularly charting across the globe. Now, following the release of his acclaimed March 2022 album, 23, he continues to make his ascent with his latest single, “Doja”, and its historic new music video.

Sampling Eve’s iconic 2001 hit single, “Let Me Blow Ya Mind”, producers LiTek and Whyjay  capitalize on the whiny yet intoxicating guitar riffs and add signature UK drill drums with a faster tempo to lay a dynamic foundation. Central Cee matches the track’s energy with his dynamic flow, authentic lyrics, and even some amusingly witty bars.

Aside from its sonic brilliance, “Doja” also marks a notable moment in Hip-Hop history as Central Cee becomes the first ever UK artist to have a video directed by the iconic Cole Bennett, and hosted on Lyrical Lemonade. Shot in West London, the music video is everything you would expect it to be even in its simplicity — captivating from start to finish.
