— Sol Messiah gears up for the release of his upcoming album, GOD CMPLX, with his latest single, “Roc Steady” featuring Sa-Roc.
Just last month Atlanta DJ and producer Sol Messiah initiated his album campaign when he enlisted the help of New York spitter Cambatta for his single, “Sol Supreme”. Now, he’s returned with a new single and music video entitled “Roc Steady” featuring long-time collaborator Sa-Roc in a bombastic, hard-core rap demonstration, intertwining chiming beats with sharp lyricist skills.
This release follows Sol Messiah’s announcement for his first full-length record via Rhymesayers Entertainment, GOD CMPLX. On the album, Sol Messiah connects with some of the finest MCs in the game to create a collection of head-bopping Hip Hop music that’s both innovative and inspiring. Featuring guest performances from KXNG Crooked,Sa-Roc, Evidence (of Dilated Peoples), Locksmith, Stic.Man (of Dead Prez), Che Noir,Lyric Jones, Mickey Factz, Cambatta, Planet Asia, TriState, Narubi Selah, Murs, Da BackWudz, Slug (of Atmosphere), Aesop Rock, and Baba Zumbi (of Zion I), creating a powerful and engaging project.
Additionally, this fall, Sol Messiah will make his way across North America moving from coast-to-coast for Sa-Roc’s The Mother Tongue Tour with Special Guests. The tour launches on September 7 in Santa Cruz, CA at Catalyst, visits major markets across the country, makes a special stop at Reggae Rise Up Festival in Las Vegas, and concludes on November 26 in Salt Lake City, UT.
