— Rapper and producer JPEGMAFIA made a stop in Atlanta, GA during his current tour run and had the building shaking from front to back.

This past week has been quite busy for the city of Atlanta. Everything from Clark Atlanta’s homecoming to outdoor festivals soaking up the last bit of summer weather, the city has been buzzing to say the least. With that being said, it was only right for one of Hip-Hop’s most respected, yet criminally underrated, rising stars to get in on the action and that’s exactly what happened when the one and only JPEGMAFIA performed at The Masquerade last week.

First things first, JPEGMAFIA (affectionately known as ‘Peggy’) curates a crowd connection like few others. Upon walking out on stage, the first thing he did was hop down into the pit to greet his fans along the barricade. Only after this did he introduce himself and begin his set.

Still, even after making a genuine connection in the beginning, Peggy continued on to further electrify the audience with his commanding stage presence and animated performance which bred an incredible exchange of energy throughout the building.

Crowdsurfing, moshing — you name it. The entire building was energized to the max and it showed. Still, despite Peggy’s rockstar antics turning The Masquerade into a complete circus, he was able to keep everything under control with some assistance from his and the venue’s staff as they carried crowdsurfers to safety, helped to keep people hydrated, and more.

All in all, the night was certainly one to remember. Hit after hit, JPEGMAFIA moved the crowd like an expert MC and gave everyone in the building an unforgettable experience. As he continues to grow as an artist and continues to climb up the Hip-Hop ranks it will be amazing to see where he takes us.

Until then, check out our recap photos and footage from the concert and be sure to follow JPEGMAFIA on Instagram and Twitter to keep up with his latest moves.
