— Detroit rapper Babyface Ray has dropped his latest single, “Nice Guy,” with a cinematic new music video to match.
Babyface Ray has had a massive year. Not only did he drop his debut studio album, FACE, back in January, but he also followed it up with a deluxe, sold out his national ‘Sincerely Face’ tour, earned a spot on the XXL Freshman cover, and made festival appearances among other achievements. However, the rising star is clearly not done with 2022.
The new single, “Nice Guy,” speaks on the many pitfalls that can come from being too loyal, too trusting, or, dare I say, too ‘nice’.
The music video brilliantly showcases much of what Babyface Ray describes in the single. Putting his acting chops on full display, the Detroit rapper confronts an act of betrayal and handles the situation accordingly.
