Arriving on the heels of his extensive tour with Denzel Curry, redveil recruits his tour mate for a new remix of his standout track “pg baby.” The original version, which Complex called “one of the most compelling hip-hop tracks of 2022,” receives a smooth new verse from Denzel, and is paired with an accompanying video of behind-the-scenes footage pieced from the road of their recently-wrapped North American tour. The remix also follows redveil’s two-part video for “mars” and “working on it.”
Earlier this year, redveil released his entirely self-produced album learn 2 swim, which Pitchfork described as “a quantum leap in both quality and vision” and includes the original version of “pg baby,” which arrived with an andrpw-directed video, “better” featuring Sam Truth and “diving board.” learn 2 swim is a musical expansion of the special album preview “eighteen” featuring Saba, Denzel Curry, MAVI, Rich Brian and others.
