— Ahead of the 65th Grammy Awards, EMPIRE celebrate recent accomplishments and their very own Adam Blackstone with a private pre-Grammy party.

Independent powerhouse, EMPIRE, hosted a private star studded pre-Grammy celebration in downtown Los Angeles this weekend to celebrate recent accomplishments and our very own Adam Blackstone who is nominated for ‘Best Traditional R&B Performance’ (“Round Midnight” feat. Jazmine Sullivan) at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.

Blackstone and friends took the stage for a Legacy Grammy Experience’ where 3-time 2023 Grammy nominee PJ Morton, Eric Bellinger, Anthony Hamilton, Vedo, Tori Kelly, Blk Odyssy, The Baylor Project, Dixon, Major. and Erica Campbell of Mary Mary performed their most popular hits.

Also in attendance for this fun-filled night hosted by EMPIRE CEO and Founder, Ghazi, were artists and friends of the label like VP of A&R Hitmaka, Tink, Queen Latifah, Busta Rhymes, Key Glock and Kenny Muney from Paper Route Entertainment, Tank, A-Trak, Yung Bleu, Too Short, Shaggy, Rotimi, Kevin Gates, Dreezy, Shaboozey, G Perico, Neek Bucks, Symba, Rocko, June Freedom, NLE Choppa, RJmrLA, Laya, Diablo, Saint Levant, Albee Al, Lady London, Ric Wilson, Empress Of, Lil Seeto, Rucci, industry veteran and executive Steve Rifkind, and many more.

The celebration was both indoor and outdoor to accommodate guests and groups — with black velvet chairs and decorative 1942 ice cubes and cocktails. Sponsors included Diageo Brands (Don Julio, Ciroc, DeLeon) and Gala Music. Prior to Blackstone’s performance, DJ Dauche provided sounds for the night while other legendary radio powerhouses were in the building including DJ Cassidy, Hot 97’s L’Oréal and TT Torez, and SirusXM’s Swaggy Sie.

Blackstone is an Emmy Award winning, renowned musical director and bassist, and is the official musical director for Super Bowl LVII.
