— Chavo follows up February’s, “Wasabi,” with his latest single “Call On Me,” produced by SossHouse label head Pi’erre Bourne.

With his buttery flows and cucumber-cool demeanor, Chavo is leading the charge for Pi’erre Bourne’s SossHouse label. Proving why he’s more ready for action than a minuteman, Chavo shares his new Pi’erre Bourne-produced video single, Call On Me.” Latching onto Pi’erre’s sunny organ melodies and skittering synth with his lullaby-like flow, the track finds Chavo at his most unbothered, keeping himself occupied while he waits for the one he wants to make his hotline bling.

The Marko Visuals-directed video follows Chavo and his associates as they man the phones at an auto repair company, when Chavo receives a call from his lady friend whose car broke down. Appearing out of thin air to save the day, Chavo shows his associates that all it takes is a little finesse to come up big. “Call On Me” arrives on the heels of February’s A$AP Ant & GT-featuring “Wasabi,” as Chavo’s second Pi’erre Bourne-produced single of 2023.

A key member of Pi’erre’s SossHouse label, Chavo’s rap ambitions date back to his early childhood, when he landed a deal with Interscope at the age of nine under the name Ray Ray, as part of a trio with his cousin James and Baby Bun, Big Pun’s son. Around 2014, Chavo was introduced to Pi’erre through his cousin, YSL artist Strick, planting the seeds for his recruitment as one of the first SossHouse signees years later. Chavo earned internet attention when he released his hit Michigan in 2021, generating over 31k TikTok creations and millions of streams across platforms. Later that year, Chavo teamed with Pi’erre Bourne for his acclaimed mixtape, Chavo’s World 2.

Stay tuned for much more music from Chavo, including his anticipated project Chavo’s World 3, and SossHouse as 2023 rolls on!
