— Atlanta rapper RIPXL delivers his first project of 2023 and takes us on an intense 11-track journey in his new EP, Atlanta Is Burning.

Highly versatile Hip-Hop artist, RIPXL, is certainly someone to keep your eyes on. Since releasing his first official project in 2020 — Romanianbodybagz 2, a follow up to his 2017 mixtape, Romanianbodybagz  — the Austell, GA native has only gained notoriety as his talent becomes increasingly undeniable. For proof, look no further than his latest project, Atlanta Is Burning.

Coming off of his acclaimed May 2022 EP, LUXURY, you would think that RIPXL would find it challenging to follow it up. Well, if he did, you wouldn’t be able to tell by the quality of the music and attention to detail throughout Atlanta Is Burning.

First things first, the production of the album is diverse, captivating, and cohesive all at the same time. Song by song, listeners are taken on a wild ride, first beginning with bass-heavy trap records like “G and P” and “Jamaican Bandanas.” We then get songs like the West Coast-influenced “LA4TheWeek,” smooth and somber records like “Intentions” and “Hurt Me Bad,” and the soulfully produced “Find Love” along with a few clever skits that help to tell a vivid story.

Despite the wide-ranging production on Atlanta Is Burning, one thing’s for sure — RIPXL never slacks on the raps. Whether rapping over the more 808-laden beats or laid back soul samples, RIPXL is sure to do his part in bringing the absolute best song out of any instrumental he hears. Whether he’s dropping some wisdom, detailing the unworthiness of his opposition, or masterfully illustrating his own story and continued rise to greatness, RIPXL does so with a lethal pen game and unrivaled flair.

Features on the album include Lex Andretti, SupremeCreme, and Bludwork.

Standout tracks on Atlanta Is Burning include “G and P,” “Jamaican Bandanas,”Datahaart Militia Interlude,” “Hurt Me Bad,” “Find Love,” and “SoftWhiteUnderbelly.”
