— Rapidly rising Hip-Hop artist redveil comes through Atlanta’s famous Masquerade concert venue and delivers an electrifying show to a raucous crowd.
When it comes to Hip-Hop, Atlanta is largely known for its affinity for Trap Music, street-influenced bars, and blaring 808’s, However, the city appreciates so much more than that. Home of lyrical geniuses and highly-versatile artists like Outkast, Killer Mike, and JID, Atlanta is a breeding ground for Hip-Hop fans of all kinds — a point perfectly exemplified by redveil’s concert last night in Atlanta.
Representing Maryland’s famous Prince George County, redveil is a bonafide prodigy already receiving co-signs from fellow greats and amassing a cult-like fanbase at just 19 years old. Still, it’s clear that this wiry wordsmith has so much more to offer — a promising thought for Hip-Hop fans far and wide.
For the 19th stop of his water 2 fire tour, redveil returned to Atlanta’s Masquerade where he opened up for Freddie Gibbs just over a year ago. This time around, redveil is the official headliner and rightfully so. Since his last time here he’s released a single with Denzel Curry, performed at Rolling Loud Miami, was recognized for having one of top albums in 2022, and released a stellar 6-track EP just this past April.
With these accomplishments in his back pocket, redveil came out and put on an unforgettable show for an eager crowd — even joining in on chanting Atlanta’s unofficial battle cry, “A-T-L Hoe,” to check the temperature.
While fan favorites like “sky,” “2daside,” “giftbag,” and “black enuff” had the building shaking, redveil made sure to catch a vibe with his earliest supporters by performing tracks from his first 2 projects Bittersweet Cry (2019) and Niagara (2020).
All in all, from the moment redveil hit the stage, the intense fervor of the audience mirrored redveil’s own passionately spirited performance resulting in an incredibly special experience for everyone in attendance.
