— Ahead of her upcoming album, Sundial, out August 11th, Noname announces the Sundial Block Party which will take place in Chicago on August 17th from 3pm – 8pm.
In collaboration with Noname Book Club, entry for the Sundial Block Party will be free with a suggested book donation, specifically requesting Blood in my Eye, SULA, or work from other black authors that will go to the club’s incarcerated members. The block party features performances by Noname, Navy Blue, Alex Vaugh and surprise guests. The event will also feature DJ sets from DJ Greensliime and Finding Ijeoma along with refreshments and activities for kids.
Last month, Noname teased fans with a performance in New York City at MIKE’s Young World III and announced the Sundial tracklist on her Instagram which will include features from Common, Billy Woods, Jay Electronica, Ayoni and more.
