— Following his recent collab with Chicago mainstay G Herbo, young newcomer SheedTs recruits Babyface Ray for his latest single, “Changes.”
Fast-rising artist and first Great Day Records signee SheedTs just released a song with Chicago’s G-Herbo, and today he’s back with a new one featuring top Detroit rapper Babyface Ray. “Changes” brings SheedTs’ melodic raps together with Ray’s nonchalant flow as they trade bars full of NBA references and the necessity of growth.
The Philadelphia product has received a slew of co-signs since dropping his recent mixtape C My Side from the likes of Tierra Whack, Rob 49, Babyface Ray, YG, G Herbo, among others. His most recent song “Remember” Ft. G Herbo was named Pitchfork’s must-hear rap song of the day, stating,
“What comes to mind is Juice WRLD channeling the sensitive side of Future while nodding to the rhythms of drill. You get a hint of the lionhearted raps of Meek even when SheedT’s not trying to do that”.
