— As 2023 draws to a close, UK rapper Central Cee is ready to round off the year; gearing up to drop a new track titled “Entrapreneur.”

A raw, unfiltered rap release, “Entrapreneur” is an authentic look back into Cench’s journey to the top, and his hectic schedule of the past two years. It’s also a nod to Cench’s catalog, with a recognisable Sprinter lyric illustrating just how far the rapper has come: “Toyota Yaris to Urus.”

With a strong theme of fashion and streetwear culture, Entrapreneur speaks on clothing lines and selling tee’s, the single also features an intro from none other than global fashion brand entrepreneur, Mikey Trapstar: “The trap’s still running. It’s never turning off. Different product, same hustle mentality.”

A few nights ago, Central Cee teased fans with a cryptic dump on social media, showcasing a sneak peak of the upcoming track, but also a new t-shirt; setting fans into a frenzy ahead of the young rapper’s highly anticipated next move. Known for his Christmas gift drops to fans, it wasn’t long before Cench unveiled “Entrapreneur” alongside a trademark effortless Central Cee visual.

Filmed in London and Lapland, the video sees Cench and friends showcasing their entrepreneurial spirit. Wearing a Bellingham football shirt, Cench schools his listeners on the journey he’s made, showcasing his latest SYNA drop: “£180 for the tracksuit. Go somewhere else if it’s overpriced.”  In-keeping with this, the accompanying exclusive merchandise drop, features the lyrics “the trap’s still running on xmas day,” a homage to Cench’s 2022 hit single, Doja.”

The new offering follows on from the enormous success of Central Cee’s collaborative project Split Decision with Dave, and stand-out single Sprinter, the latter of which was crowned as the most played song of 2023 on Spotify in the UK. The single also became the longest-running number-one rap song in the UK, holding the position for 10 weeks. In August, Central Cee shared an On The Radar freestyle with Drake, as well as touring across the US with the Canadian musician. In fact, the new single states he has spent “730 days on tour” (2 years of constant hard work). Cench also rounded off an incredible year with two huge features; Too Much” with Kid Laroi and Jung Kook, and Nice To Meet You with longtime friend PinkPantheress

Despite his limited releases this year, Central Cee has still become the first UK Rapper to hit 2 billion streams on Spotify. Doubling his numbers from last year, Central Cee’s trajectory is truly inimitable.
