— Rapper Christaun delivers his latest loosie track, “Outside Freestyle”, along with an accompanying music video.
Chicago-bred rapper, Christaun, has been fairly busy following the release of his second album, CLIMB, back in 2020. Since then, he’s released 4 singles, “Martyr”, “Limits”, “Save Me”, and “Got some nerve”, with the most recent dropping this past summer. Now, after a short break, he’s back with a new freestyle and visual titled, “Outside Freestyle”.
“Outside Freestyle” starts off with a soulfully enchanting vocal sample and piano melody that completely set the tone for a heartfelt verse from Christaun. As expected, Christaun came through and showed out using his own smooth vocals, melodic flow, and genuine lyrics to create a song oozing in sincerity and authenticity.
The music video, shot by Forman James, exemplifies the realness in “Outside Freestyle” in an equally authentic way. The visual shows Christaun and his crew in a series of environments including on stage at a live performance as well as at his own crib as they vibe and get their night started. Despite its simplicity, the quality of the shots and the use of some creative editing went a long way in making this visual a captivating watch.
