— Klassic Kell recruits Marv XXL, Wan Geez, and a talented cast for his highly anticipated “Bogus Conversations” music video.

Since dropping his instant classic debut album, aptly titled The Klassic Tape, Vol.1, South Atlanta rapper Klassic Kell has been steady on the move. The rising star has been featured in numerous publications, made a guest appearance on the Channel 7 Podcast, and even starred in episode 39 of our More Bars Please series. Now, Klassic Kell has finally released the long-awaited music video for one of The Klassic Tape, Vol. 1’s fan favorites, “Bogus Conversations”.

“Bogus Conversations” references some of the inauthentic conversations you may have with people who want something from you and, frankly, may not have your best interest at heart. Whether it be old flames, shady label execs, or family members looking to leech, Klassic Kell has had it with the disingenuous dialogue.

The captivating  production of “Bogus Conversations” was handled by PRODUCEDBYDM and featured an entrancing beat perfect for some of the trippy effects present in the video.

The music video, directed by Jacob Rink, takes place in an Atlanta-based production studio and features some of Kell’s best friends and frequent collaborators. The monochrome visual shows rappers Klassic Kell, Marv XXL, and Wan Geez performing their verses in front of an all-white backdrop while Kell is approached with ‘bogus conversations, one after another. The cinematic elements used in the video — from the unique camera angles to the creative edits and transitions — made it a must-watch despite its limited location and color scheme, further adding to its brilliance.
