— 17 year old prodigy, redveil, drops his latest single, “diving board”, along with a new music video before touring with Denzel Curry and Freddie Gibbs.

Redveil has seen nothing but upward trajectory since first bursting onto the scene in 2019 with his debut project, Bittersweet Cry. Since then, the emerging young star has already delivered his stellar follow up project, Niagara, featuring his standout track, “Weight”, which has amassed over 10 million views to date. Now, as he prepares to hit the road, redveil has shared his latest single, “diving board”, with visuals to match.

Produced by redveil himself, “diving board” is built around jazzy production consisting of elegant piano play, dreamy saxophone melodies, and incredibly hypnotic drum loop. The production perfectly set the stage for redveil’s introspective approach with the song serving as a commentary of his current circumstance. Working through the realization that it may be time to take a leap of faith and “dive” into adulthood while confronting new challenges, responsibilities, and changes head on, “diving board” gives us a great idea of what’s to come on his upcoming project.

The music video, directed by Manny Madrigal, brilliantly illustrates redveil’s internal conflict with a dreamlike visual before he ultimately decides to jump headfirst into the unknown.

This Spring, redveil will be joining Freddie Gibbs, Zack Fox, and MIKE for a stretch of shows including stops at New York’s Irving Plaza and Maryland’s The Filmore Silver Springs before hitting the road with Denzel Curry for his MELT MY EYEZ, SEE YOUR FUTURE Tour this summer.
