— Rapper Guapdad 4000 releases his latest single, “Cheap”, along with a new music video fresh off of his North American tour run.

Guapdad 4000 continues to impress following his recently completed tour run supporting Wale during his Under a Blue Moon tour. Having already released “I Need Bands” and “Ruthless” earlier this year, the superstar in the making is back with his latest banger, “Cheap”.

Produced by Remedy, the bouncy Bay Area-influenced track starts off with a rhythmic hi-hat cadence before Guapdad himself and a few other percussive elements enter the picture. As usual, Guapdad 4000 let off some uniquely clever raps about his lifelong pursuit of cash with an added focus on his distaste for ‘cheap talk’.

Directed by Paul Middleton, the “Cheap” music video follows Guapdad 4000 on a scamming escapade shot near his childhood home in West Oakland. This caps off a week in which Guap was featured in an essay on ‘scam rap’ in The New York Time’s Magazine’s 2022 Music Issue.

Guap’s recent success comes on the heels of a wildly successful 2021. With his recent tour run coming to a close, we’re anticipating some big things down the line.
