For all the spanish-speaking Hip-Hop fans out there, you’re in for an absolute treat. If you aren’t familiar with Bronx-based Dominican rapper, Chucky73, there’s no better time to catch up than now. Following a stellar 2021, powered by his successful 10-track EP Firmado Con La Calle, the superstar in the making is ready to heat things up with his newest single, “Hmm”, right as the weather begins to break.
The production of “Hmm”, courtesy of Sie7etr3’s own YMP Cash, is high-octane from start to finish as it expertly uses a rapid hi-hat rhythm coupled with the use of bass-thumping 808s. Chucky73 then dances all over the production with his impeccably captivating flow to bring the whole thing together.
The music video is flooded with Latin Bronx culture as Chucky73 performs the track while in the presence of good company at a few locations around his neighborhood including a New York City staple — your local bodega.
