— DMV-bred up-and-coming rapper, Mor, drops his third official project, SEASONED.
Repping Gaitersburg, Maryland by way of Senegal, Mor is something of a rookie in the game having released his very first official project, Mor, in 2019. Still, despite his short stint thus far, he’s already showing signs of musical greatness as he releases his latest EP, SEASONED.
Following the release of his early 2022 singles, “Money On My Mind” and “Going Going Gone”, SEASONED takes a different approach with Mor incorporating classic Hip-Hop production (even paying homage to Eric B. and Rakim and others on “I’m Back”) as well as introspective lyrics from start to finish. Sometimes electing to utilize his storytelling skills while sometimes using compelling delivery and wordplay to get his point across, Mor was able to put together an incredibly balanced project.
The 25-minute project includes the self-titled single, “SEASONED”, as well as his previously released fan favorite, “Pell Grant”.
Produced remotely and solely by Tico, SEASONED possesses a brilliant combination between nostalgic Hip-Hop with a modern, edgier twist bringing it to the modern day. It’s another exhilarated and confident release from Mor, who is only going one way as he continues his rise. He says on the release, “I took a hard fall. A really hard fall, and emerged SEASONED and better than ever”.
