Rapper Troy Fayola has been steady on her grind — making her first appearance on our platform on episode 44 of our More Bars Please series — and has continued to impress with her Women’s History Month and “Vivrant Thing” freestyles earlier this year. Now, as she prepares to release her latest collab with fellow Atlanta-based lyricist, Lacy the Great, we got the chance to capture behind-the-scenes footage of their music video shoot.
The behind-the-scenes footage, shot by Simo Haier Visuals, recaps the entire shoot as Troy and Lacy give us a short interview on the origins of the song, their ultimate goals for the song, their musical chemistry, and the music video itself.
The official music video, directed by R3BIRTH PRODUCTIONS, is set to arrive on August 1st.
