— Almost a year since it’s debut, Atlanta-based artist, Ervin Mitchell, releases the long-awaited music video for his 2020 single, “Abracadabra”.
Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Ervin Mitchell has become one of the shining stars in Atlanta’s diverse underground Hip-Hop scene. Not only has he been championed locally, but he’s also grown his following exponentially while working out of the southern Hip-Hop hub. Now, after taking a short hiatus during the Coronavirus pandemic, Ervin Mitchell has returned with an official music video for his 2020 hit, “Abracadabra”.
“Abracadabra” is a short and sweet banger that showcases Mitchell’s unique style and flow as he effortlessly hits every pocket of an emphatic, 808-ridden, Lexi Banks-produced beat.
The music video, directed by Sean Kelly, definitely didn’t disappoint. Cinematic elements such as angles, camera movements, and creative editing allowed for the visual to match the energy of the song very well. However, the entertaining concept and hilarious acting is what ultimately put this music video over the top.
According to Ervin Mitchell himself, his highly-anticipated album, Cudi Baby, is on the way which gives us plenty to look forward to.
