— As one of Atlanta’s “trillest” homegrown artists, it’s only right that the eastside native enlist the help of Underground King, Bun B, on his latest record, “Hol’ It Down”.

Following the release of “Curfew” back in mid-March, Scotty ATL has been busy with his work away from music such as celebrating the 1-year anniversary of his highly successful grill shop, organizing a live panel, and being the overall pillar to his community that he always has been. Nonetheless, Scotty ATL is back and in rare form with his Bun B assisted single, “Hol’ It Down”.

Produced by Cory Mo, the track features uplifting piano, chime, and vocal loops contrasted by knocking bass and snapping snare drums — all accompanied by a smooth half-sung hook by Scotty ATL.

When it comes to the lyrical content, you wouldn’t expect anything less than stellar from this duo and rightfully so. Not only did they showcase their technical skills, but they also dropped some much need jewels and aimed to used their words as a source of inspiration during these hard times as they encourage us to “hol’ it down”.
