— Hip-Hop duo, NATIV3 SOUNDS, starts 2021 off right with the release of their 5th body of work, FLY BY NIGHT.

As some of the most undeniable talents in Georgia’s underground Hip-Hop scene, C. Wills and Qualo Smoke of NATIV3 SOUNDS are criminally underappreciated. Nonetheless, the group hailing from the historic city of Augusta, GA has yet to miss thus far and they’re still just warming up. Now, following their 2020 EP, Not The Same 2, NATIV3 SOUNDS has decided to turn it up a notch with their latest project FLY BY NIGHT.

Despite a track listing of only 9 songs and about 22 minutes of playback, FLY BY NIGHT is a complete work of art. From start to finish, you’re taken on a journey through several different scenarios all capturing different feelings, yet the entire project fits together seamlessly. For example, NATIV3 SOUNDS were able to take a song like their soulful upbeat lead single, “Fireworks” (feat. L.O.W, Benzo Scott, and JAM) or a smooth late-night vibe like “KAWHI” (feat. Mikell) and complement them with more ruthless tracks like “No Busta Zone” and “Shut Up Steel” (feat. MoneyMakinNique).

The production of FLY BY NIGHT, largely handled by L.O.W, played a major role in its supreme quality and continuity. The project was heavily influenced by the music and culture of 1970s Soul and Funk, but producers L.O.W., ProTools Queen Eve, Dozzy, and DJ Forte were able to tastefully blend that influence with their unique modern styles. With all that being said, despite every song having its own unique qualities, FLY BY NIGHT was about as cohesive a project as there’s ever been.
