— Southside Atlanta rapper Trey Monroe steps back on the scene with his latest single “Pull Up”.
Up and coming rapper Trey Monroe has been in the lab for a while since the release of his 2019 project, Homecoming, and follow up single, “Swing My Doe”. But, after appearing on our More Bars Please series in late 2020, it was apparent that Trey Monroe is still in rare form. Now, after almost 2 years, Trey has released his first official single and he definitely didn’t disappoint.
“Pull Up”, produced by Justin Padron and Pope, begins with a short piano solo and morphs into a fully-produced ballad. Trey Monroe comes through crooning over the sultry production — although with a bouncy flow, perfectly deploying his talents as a rapper to craft a dynamic and exciting R&B-esque track.
With promise of a new project on the way, we advise that you get familiar with Trey Monroe while his stock is still on the rise. Check out the full “Pull Up” track as well as Trey’s episode on our More Bars Please series above. Also be sure to follow him on Instagram to stay up to date with his day-today activities.
