— Frequent collaborators Fleetwood Fred and Tate228 link up for another instant classic titled, “Right on Time”, and release visuals to match.

Few artists today truly embody authentic southern flavor the way that Atlanta artists Fleetwood Fred and Tate228 do. Though they both possess an elevated level of lyrical ability, they also appear to be in touch with their southern roots in a way that can’t be taught — apparent by their style, subject matter, and humble, yet brash, delivery. Now, as the weather heats up, Fleetwood Fred and Tate228 aim to do the same with their latest song, “Right on Time”, and accompanying visuals.

“Right on Time” utilizes a smooth and hypnotic bassline, along with other elements, to create a remarkably intoxicating beat which both artists take full advantage of. Fleetwood Fred kicks everything off with an emphatic verse loaded with words of wisdom and encouragement disguised as lyrical gymnastics. He then slows the pace and shows off his range with an entrancing hook just before Tate228 steps in with his compelling delivery and thought-provoking lyrics.

The video, shot by Marquis Garden, features Fleetwood Fred and Tate228 working as mechanics in a garage, plotting on better days as they work. Although a simple concept, well-executed shots, creative angles, and clever props coupled with the fitting “blue collar” vibe make this music video a must-watch.
