— Orlando, FL native BBE Dreco releases the music video for “Consistency” from his latest album, Loyalty Ova Luv.
Following the early August release of his latest album, Loyalty Ova Luv, Florida rapper BBE Dreco is keeping his foot on the gas — and rightfully so. The well-crafted 13-track project was quite the effort for the young newcomer and deserves quality follow-up content to match. Lucky for us, BBE Dreco is already on it as he’s dropped the official music video for the album’s opening track, “Consistency”.
“Consistency”, produced by Cecil, has an infectious beat that features an incredibly flipped sample of the classic song, “I Forgot to Be Your Lover” by William Bell (most may recognize it from Jaheim’s “Put That Woman First”).
With Cecil putting in work on the beat, BBE Dreco knew to come with his A-game and he did just that. Dreco used the soul-backed production to really tap into some deep thoughts about love, loyalty, and loss even opening the song with the lines,
“I say consistency ain’t been the same, hope you still feeling me
Don’t switch up the vibe, I pull you close when you start distancing
This was a love song, but my brother fresh up off of sentencing
Problems at the crib, what you gon’ do when it get sticky, b”
The music video, directed by Mal, was simple, smooth, and captivating all at once. While only using what would appear to be one location, performance shots of BBE Dreco included dynamic camera movements and well-placed effects. Furthermore, lyrics appearing on screen, use of both wide-shots and close-ups, and clean transitions among other things made this a great watch.
