— Atlanta rapper and fashion aficionado, Jordy Nasa, delivers a trippy new visual for his second official 2021 single, “M.N.D.B.N.D.R.”.

Since appearing on episode 13 of our More Bars Please freestyle series last year, Atlanta-based artist Jordy Nasa took a small hiatus from music as he delved deeper in the world of fashion. Now, since finding some success in that lane and delivering his summer 2021 single, “Late Night”, the eclectic young artist is back with a new visual for his September single, “M.N.D.B.N.D.R.”.

“M.N.D.B.N.D.R.” features highly unique bass heavy-production fitting for the concept of mental distortion and otherwise confusion. Jordy Nasa wastes no time, immediately beginning with a nonchalant 4-bar intro before switching up his tone and delivery with an energetic and dynamic verse. All-in-all, the combination of the production and Nasa’s one-of-a-kind flow and artistry, gave “M.N.D.B.N.D.R.” an extremely distinctive and futuristic vibe that’s inimitable by most.

The music video, shot and directed by Laila Jhané, starred Jordy Nasa alone as he seemingly attempts to get a grip on his reality. Glitchy visual effects, creative editing and framing, as well as stellar location scouting all worked in conjunction to make the visual engaging. At every turn Jordy appears to be in complete solitude despite wandering through the streets of Atlanta and gets increasingly anxious — beautifully conveyed by both Nasa’s convincing portrayal and the appropriate use of relevant cinematic elements.
