In Hip-Hop, some of the best projects are made when an artist locks in with one producer for the entire project. Some of the most well-known producers called upon for such collabs are Kanye West, Madlib, and Harry Fraud to name a few. However, one of the most notable and consistent producers to deliver these projects is world-renowned Hip-Hop artist, The Alchemist

In recent years, some of the legendary producer’s more notable collaborations have been with rappers Freddie Gibbs, Boldly James, Action Bronson, and Conway the Machine. Still, despite these heavy hitters, some of his best projects have come from his collaborations with Curren$y

The duo worked together on the mixtapes Covert Coup, The Carrollton Heist, and Fetti, which also co-stars Freddie Gibbs. These collaborations include classic songs such as “BBS”, “The Type” featuring late Hip-Hop legend, Prodigy, “Scottie Pippens” featuring Freddie Gibbs, and several others. The lavish, laid back lyrics of the New Orleans MC mixed with Al’s dark, jazzy looped samples mesh together perfectly and has allowed Curren$y to create some of his best work.

Both Curren$y and The Alchemist announced their latest upcoming project on Instagram with a February 18th release date. Originally, Curren$y tweeted that he would be releasing a project with Alchemist titled Half Moon Bay, which we can assume was changed to Continuance. Its original release date was December 10, 2021, but according to Curren$y Alchemist wanted to wait until 2022.

Boldy James also shared the post, which hints that he will be involved with the project. While a potential tracklist has yet to surface, there have been multiple leaks that continue to build anticipation for the fans.

If the snippets are any indication of the project, then it seems fair to assume that Curren$y and Alchemist have created another masterpiece that fans cannot wait to hear. The duo has yet to disappoint and it does not seem like they will begin to do so anytime soon.
