— Underground Hip-Hop titans, Atmosphere, will co-headline the Sunshine & Summer Nights Tour in Las Vegas, NV this summer.
For over two decades, legendary underground Hip-Hop group, Atmosphere, have quietly influenced and instigated the progression of Hip-Hop — proven by their sales of over 2 million records independently and over 1 billion streams, along with their widespread critical acclaim. Over the years, the rapper and DJ/producer duo, Slug and Ant, have been rocking stages around the world including major festivals like Coachella, Governors Ball, Lollapalooza, and Bonnaroo even teaming up with Cypress Hill for a massive co-headline tour run with Z-Trip just last year. Now, the band have announced that they’re returning to the road this summer to co-headline the Sunshine & Summer Nights Tour in support of their acclaimed October 2021 album, WORD?, alongside California-based reggae-influenced alternative rock band, Iration.
While discussing the upcoming tour, Slug states,
“We cannot wait to run around this summer making party with the people… I need to hear the sounds of smiles and feel the sun’s nourishment. Going out on the road with Iration is a blessing. They are pros at making party. We will bathe in the vibes.”
The tour kicks off on Friday, July 8th in Las Vegas, NV at Las Vegas Events Center and concludes on Friday, August 26th in Irvine, CA at FivePoint Amphitheatre. Founding member of indie Hip-Hop supergroup Living Legends, rapper and producer The Grouch, and DJ Fresh will be supporting the tour along with Alternative Rock/Hip-Hop hybrid band Katastro.
Along the way, Atmosphere and Iration will also make stops at the San Diego Bayfest in San Diego, CA on July 9th and Reggae Rise Up Maryland in Baltimore, MD on July 30th.

Prior to the tour, Atmosphere is also celebrating the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking sophomore album, Lucy Ford. In honor of the occasion, the album is to be released on vinyl for the first time ever on Friday, May 27th via Rhymesayers Entertainment.
An exclusive vinyl variant, limited to 1,000 colored copies, was sold out within hours of its announcement. Meanwhile, the standard version on black 2xLP vinyl will be widely available on release day. Pre-orders are available now at the official Atmosphere website.
