The Grammy winning-rapper announced that his highly-anticipated album is titled Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers and will be released on May 13th. The announcement was made on oklama.com, which also previously was the medium that announced that this would be Kendrick’s final album with Top Dawg Entertainment. He cleverly posted it as a reply to a tweet that read, “Kendrick Lamar has officially retired.”
This is his follow up to the Grammy and Pulitzer-winning album, Damn, which recently celebrated its five year anniversary. As always, expectations are sky-high for Kendrick, and after the five-year hiatus, the expectations may be higher than ever. Stay tuned to his Instagram and Twitter for more updates about Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.
