— UK rap group OSP has delivered their debut EP following the release of their 2022 singles, “Breathe” and “Fill It Up”.
First formed in 2014, the Reading-based Hip-Hop group OSP — comprised of Esa Kwame , J Blackz, Silqe, and Subject — started the year off strong with the release of their acclaimed singles, “Breathe” and “Fill It Up”. Now, the group has finally come through with their next single, “When?”, along with their long-awaited debut project, OSP.
The self-titled EP has been eight years in the making and seamlessly brings together a fresh and diverse array of influences. After spending several years performing shows throughout the UK, this new collection marks their first official release as a group. The project features their two previously released singles along with the summertime jam, “Let’s Do Something” and their newest single, “When?”, along with its official dub/instrumental.
OPS’s latest single, “When?”, arrives alongside the EP and is one of the group’s most distinctive cuts to date. The production is led by a deep, bone-chilling piano loop and a knocking drum cadence that set the perfect stage for the group’s dynamic mixture of melodies and flows accented by their elevated lyricism.
