— Canadian rapper, ARDN, releases his latest single titled “Paper” following his recent tour with TDE artist, Isaiah Rashad.
Coming out of Edmonton, Canada with a fresh and inventive sound, Burundi-born artist ARDN popped up on many rap fans’ radar when he was featured as an opener on the Canadian leg of Isaiah Rashad‘s The House is Burning Tour. Today, he’s back with a brand new single titled “Paper.”
When explaining the song, ARDN has said,
“‘Paper’ is a song that describes a girl I have strong interest in that is dealing with a number of struggles in her life. I offer her an opportunity to escape, by taking on a new journey with me in which we’ll adventure, and grow rich together.”
Not only is “Paper” an anthem that proves ARDN has high aspirations in the game, but it also showcases his impeccable flows stemming from his ability to create both soft melodies and rapid-fire rhymes. This single marks the first in a rollout for a new EP he’s putting together later this summer.
Courtesy of producers Mariano Zelaya and Tyler Banditt, the single features soulful ‘stick-to-your-ribs’ production by utilizing a rumbling bassline, sharp guitar riffs, a jazzy drum cadence, and even distorted vocals.
Stay tuned for more news on the upcoming EP, but until then, stream “Paper” right here and be sure to follow ARDN on Instagram.
