— This past weekend, Atlanta favorite Scotty ATL recruited some of Atlanta’s dopest talents and put on an exciting show at The Vinyl at Center Stage.
Hometown hero Scotty ATL is easily one of Atlanta’s most adored artists for more than one reason. Not only is his down-to-earth personality and vibrant energy extremely inviting, but both his music and renowned grill shop, Grillz By Scotty, have earned countless co-signs from celebrities and the community alike. With all of this being said, it’s always a pleasure to catch him when he steps out and, this past Friday, he did so in emphatic fashion with help from a few of his friends.
Hosted by Atlanta’s own Chief and with Gold Tooth Truth manning the turntables, the event was good and lit long before the headliners grabbed a mic. Still, with opening performances from respected artists like Clay James, Translee, and King Elway, they did more than just warm up the crowd as each MC took turns rocking the stage and captivating the highly responsive audience.
To close out the night, Scotty ATL hit the stage — much to the excitement of everyone in attendance — and did what he does best. While performing some of his biggest hits, such as “Ratchet”, “Neva Switch Up”, and “Cloud IX (Go Up)”, he upped the ante by allowing Jose Guapo and Trinidad James to share the stage with him, resulting in an incredibly dynamic show.
