— Augusta-bred rapper and Internet Money artist Rot Ken releases his latest single, “Rollin”, along with a music video to celebrate his freedom.

Blessed with a natural sense of freewheeling melody, Georgia rapper Rot Ken is a leader in his state’s new wave. Though Ken has been away for much of 2022, his presence was still heavily felt. In May, the Internet Money/Spaceboy Productions artist shared Free Me, a 17-track project that showed his range, and demonstrated his singular ability to cut through immersive production with effervescent flows. Now, celebrating his recent release from jail in his own signature style, Ken shares “Rollin,” a new video single.

Produced by JetsonMade, the new song combines angelic synth arpeggios and dramatic piano with Jetson’s trademark trampoline 808s, providing a platform for Ken to pontificate about his environment and air his grievances with bars like,

“I was locked up in a cell sitting on a double bed

Heard you told ’em ’bout some things, yeah, I heard what you said.”

The emotional video blends clips of Rot Ken’s release — embracing his family and getting a fresh line-up — with shots of the 18-year-old artist riding in a luxury van to the studio, where he immediately gets to work
