— New York-bred rapper Omari M’$ releases his latest project, a 5-track EP titled, Champagne Celebrations, to kick off his 2023 run.
Originally hailing from Queens, NY, Atlanta-based Hip-Hop artist Omari M’$ is an undeniably dope rising talent known for his luxurious raps and velvety smooth delivery. Coming off a strong 2022, dropping quite a few singles as well as 2 projects — Flourish and Think Good Thoughts — Omari M’$ is back with his latest project, Champagne Celebrations.
Recorded between September and November of 2022, just after the release of Think Good Thoughts, Champagne Celebrations is just that — a celebration. When describing his approach on Champagne Celebrations in comparison to his last two projects, Omari M’$ says,
“Those two projects allowed me to find myself through music and remind myself who I am and where I came from. Champagne Celebrations is the celebration of a man who knows who he is, a man who re-found his confidence and is prepared to out rap any artist on any track”.
Featuring production from 4everpalma and Turk Money, Champagne Problems also takes a new approach from his past works. Stepping away from acoustic elements, Omari M’$ utilizes more 808s and increases his BPMs allowing him to further perfect his flow. Furthermore, despite the brevity of the project, the production gives Champagne Celebrations a grandiose, big city feel that Omari M’$ compliments ever so flawlessly.
Lyrically, Omari M’$ came all the way correct. Doing everything from sharing some serious game to highlighting his own greatness, the NYC spitter delivered a series of dynamic verses, impressively and effortlessly switching up his flows throughout the EP.
Some stand out tracks from the project include “Max B in ‘07,” “Shaft vs. Superfly,” and “Tom Brady Rings” which has a music video out right now.
