— Boston-bred rapper Chavo releases his much anticipated 17-track project, Chavo’s World 3, ahead of his upcoming tour dates.
Known for his deadpan delivery and slippery flows, Chavo serves up in-your-face flexes and stern warnings to the opps without breaking a sweat. Teaming up with his mentor and SossHouse label boss Pi’erre Bourne for a new mixtape, the Boston-born emcee shares Chavo’s World 3. Spanning 17 tracks, the new mixtape deep dives into every aspect of Chavo’s life, from his trapping past to his aspiring rap star present.
Seamlessly flowing from one track to another, Chavo’s World 3 benefits from the brilliant chemistry between producer and rapper. The tape reverberates with Pi’erre’s signature candy-coated melodies and thumping low end, the maestro offering nightmarish, creeping instrumentals like “Fort Worth” alongside blissful beats like “Procedure” and exotic, bouncy tracks like “HEY!” Chavo and Pi’erre go back and forth on the woozy “Black Tint,” each artist encouraging the other to indulge in their most hedonistic impulses.
Featuring an additional appearance from Veeze, who joins Chavo on the swelling, atmospheric instrumental for “Postman,” and home to the pre-released single “Call On Me,” Chavo’s World 3 is available everywhere via SossHouse.
Chavo’s World 3 is the anticipated follow-up to 2021’s Chavo’s World 2, also produced in full by Pi’erre Bourne. The tape was home to the internet hit “Michigan” in 2021, generating over 31k TikTok creations and millions of streams across platforms, and inspiring a remix featuring Babyface Ray. Earlier this year, Chavo connected with A$AP Ant and GT for the spicy “Wasabi.” Chavo’s new mixtape Chavo’s World 3 is the latest in a busy Spring for Pi’erre’s label, following Frazier Trill’s new mixtape Still Trapp’n, which dropped last week.
Chavo, Sharc, and their label mate Jelly, the SossHouse rapper behind the acclaimed project The Wolf of Peachtree 2, will perform on “The Hardest Out Tour“ this May, with Pi’erre Bourne as the special guest DJ. A blistering 4-date showcase of SossHouse’s singular style, “The Hardest Out Tour” kicks off in Houston on May 24th, continues in New York (May 25th) and Atlanta (May 27th) before finishing up in Los Angeles on May 28th. Tickets for “The Hardest Out Tour” are available now at MoveForwardMusic.com.
