— Multi-faceted NYC-bred artist Cisco Swank delivers his highly anticipated debut solo album More Better via THANKS Recordings.

Born to two musically inclined educators, Cisco Swank began playing the piano and drums at the age of four under the tutelage of his father, the director of music at their local church, while his mother led the church’s youth choir. He spent his formal years learning at LaGuardia High School for Music, Art & The Performing Arts and later received a full scholarship from Berklee College of Music in Boston where he really began to hone in on his skills that are in full display on his long-awaited debut solo album More Better.

Flaunting his effortless versatility as he tows the line between improvisational jazz, hip-hop, R&B and bedroom pop Brooklyn artist Cisco Swank’s More Better is a testament to his boundless range of style fostered over years of formal training as a jazz musician.

Following the releases of singles “All The Same” and “No Funny” (Feat. Yoshi T), More Better is a bold continuation of Cisco’s sonic experiments — such as last year’s acclaimed Some Things Take Time with Chicago producer Luke Titus — with musical references from hip-hop to indie, gospel, soul and of course jazz.

With comparisons to Thundercat, Steve Lacy, Pharrell, and Tyler, The Creator from Pigeons & Planes April edition of “Best New Artists”, Cisco is quickly becoming a staple in New York City’s R&B, jazz, and hip-hop communities.
