— Southside Atlanta rapper Booney shares a new video for his single “Cheap Liquor” following the release of his latest EP Cheap Liquor.
This past October Atlanta rapper Booney debuted his first ever solo project, Cheap Liquor, to much acclaim. Now following its release, Booney continues to keep the project alive with his latest visual for the album’s closing track.
“Cheap Liquor”, the song, is an introspective and reflective single that put the perfect bow on an already impressive project. The video, shot and edited by Atlanta-based videographer BeenMawbin, did a great job of mirroring Booney’s sentiments as we see him in a series of scenes enjoying the company of a lovely lady, contemplating life, and rapping his lyrics, all with liquor in hand.
The video, labeled as a visualizer, is a simple one-location concept. Still, even without all the bells and whistles, the video is incredibly well-shot thanks to great framing and creative editing that helps to tell an expressive story making this visual just as captivating as a major production.
This latest visual follows Booney’s “White Wine” and “Bottomless Mimosas” music videos — two tracks that were also featured on Cheap Liquor.
