— 2024 is officially here, but before we get settled in, let’s take a look back at the best full-length albums that were released in 2023!

2023 was a rather eventful year in hip-hop from start to finish as we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the genre. Now, as we continue to build upon hip-hop’s historic greatness it’s important to stop and appreciate history while it’s being made.

Now, while sales, streams chart rankings, and cultural influence do play a part in the selection process of most year-end lists, here at Larimar Media we actually listen to the music. Because of this, lesser known artists with albums projects could very well see themselves atop our rankings.
