— With his first release in a little over a year, Keem shares his newest single, “We Go Solar,” with the help of fellow rapper OTS June.

A true display of Hip-Hop in its purest and most traditional form, “We Go Solar” is nothing short of an epic listen simply featuring immaculate raps over an undeniably cold beat. With Keem and OTS June both exhibiting high-quality lyricism, emphatic vocal delivery, and even a sequence of calmative crooning over truly narcotic productioncourtesy of producer Danny Lewie — this new single is worth more than a listen.

Over the hypnotic beat, reinforced by a groovy bass melody, Keem kicks off the track with unwavering vigor that remains throughout the entirety of his verse. Expressing supreme confidence in both his God-given and acquired talents as well as his unmatched work ethic and teflon character, Keem confidently demonstrates that he’s in rare form — all the more reason to keep an eye out for his upcoming album, A Day in Heaven.

OTS June follows up and doubles down on Keem’s sentiments from his opening verse as he raps,

“Ayo, I’m done playin’ nice with n*ggas, I ain’t finna spare you rappers,

I pulled up in the, “f*ck is that,” flyer than a pterodactyl

[A] lot of n*ggas pay for attention, ‘cause they never grabbed it

All I did was stick to the script, but I never acted”

Throughout the verse, June continues to dispute the authenticity of their doubters’ claims while effectively asserting the validity of their own using his biting bars and captivating flow to do it.

Keem then returns to close out the track, expressing sincere gratitude for his journey thus far, while affirming that he has much higher to climb. Still, with a fearless attitude and an ambitious spirit, the ‘world domination’ he speaks about is well within his reach.
