— Atlanta rapper Billy Vetti drops his new EP Black Godfather, his first official project since 2020’s Left In A Flash.
Southside Atlanta’s Billy Vetti is known for his incredible lyricism, silky smooth delivery, and effortless charm and creativity. Often dropping records for the stoners, hustlers, and players alike, Billy Vetti is as consistent as they come, never missing on a release whether it’s a single or full-length project. For undeniable proof, look no further than his latest release, Black Godfather.
With production credits from Leer Luciano, paymels!, Tino Almighty, and frequent collaborator Phresh Bueller, the entirety of the 11-track EP is a smooth and effortless listen. From the very first song, “Fly Cologne,” where Billy Vetti boasts his greatness over remarkably graceful production to the project’s closing track, “Juneteenth,” where he showcases his champion-level composure over a swanky instrumental, this project is simply exceptional.
The lead singles for Black Godfather include the aforementioned “Fly Cologne” as well as the luxuriously lush “Panama Pete” and the ultra-cinematic “Nautical.” However, without a single ‘skip’ on this project, your best bet is to just listen all the way through. You won’t be disappointed.
With the release of this new project as well as his recently inked deal with The Dream Company record label, we’re looking forward to seeing what Billy does next.
