Spanning 13 tracks, MELODY OF A MEMORY was crafted by a team of producers led by Eem and executive-producer Dahi (the GRAMMY-winning sound architect, formerly known as DJ Dahi), along with Matthew Castellanos and Eem’s frequent collaborator Charlie Myles. Moving from style to style even as it transitions seamlessly between songs, the album draws inspiration from the likes of Pharrell Williams and Tyler, The Creator, and is similarly packed with sonic detail. The album is home to singles like “FIJI,” a collaboration with the R&B group Cruza, and the spritely “DUYA,” as well as new highlights like “IF WE BEING HONEST“ and “OUT MIAMI,” a collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign. MELODY OF A MEMORY is available on all platforms via RCA Records.
“It’s been a long time coming, but I hope fans know that I’ve been putting a lot of hard work into this album. I’m excited for the people to finally hear what we’ve been cooking up over the past year or so while I’ve been in the studio with the homies Dahi, Matt, Charlie, and more. This project reveals parts of me that I haven’t shared before, and also shows a side of my sound that I haven’t shown folks yet. I think it shows my evolution as an artist, and I hope people hear that when they tune in.” — Eem Triplin
MELODY OF A MEMORY is the culmination of a two-years long rise from bedroom producer to budding rap star. Eem started his career producing for artists like $NOT, whose early support encouraged Eem to keep building his own world and attempt an artistic career of his own. He built a profile with viral hits like “AWKWARD FREESTYLE” and “JUST FRIENDS?,” each gaining tens of millions of streams across platforms. Eem released his debut EP, STILL PRETTY in Summer 2023, earning acclaim for songs like “WALKED IN” and “TELL ME IM RIGHT.”
Eem spent the intervening 18 months between STILL PRETTY and the imminent MELODY OF A MEMORY building a loyal fanbase, performing live as an opener for artists like Bryson Tiller, LUCKI and his good friend $NOT, showing out at festivals like Rolling Loud, and European fests like Clout Festival and Splash! Festival, and performing his first-ever headlining show in his small hometown of Johnstown, Pennsylvania. In 2024, Eem performed his first headlining tour, the STILL PRETTY North American Tour, selling 11,000 tickets across 21 shows (90% sell out), released fan-favorite singles like “stephanie,” and collaborated with Camila Cabello on her song “baby pink.”
With hundreds of millions of streams in the bank and his debut album out now, Eem Triplin is ready for the world to hear what he can do.
